In a world where the role of school counselors is rapidly evolving, we often find ourselves asked to do more with less—more impact, more influence, more leadership—all while navigating the myriad challenges our students and schools face. But the truth is, leadership isn’t just about titles or formal roles. It’s about the P.O.W.E.R. we hold within us to drive change and positively impact the lives of those around us, even when the odds seem stacked against us.

This keynote is a rallying call to all school counselors: we have the potential to flip the script on what leadership looks like in our profession. The P.O.W.E.R. acronym will serve as our guiding light as we explore what true leadership means, especially within the unique challenges of education today: Potential, Opportunity, Willpower, Empowerment, Resilience.

 

By embracing our P.O.W.E.R., we can redefine what it means to lead in the field of school counseling. This session will be a powerful affirmation of the inherent leadership within all of us—equipping us with actionable insights and a renewed sense of purpose as we continue to impact lives and elevate the school counseling profession.
