Keynote Session
Laura Fridirici, Career Readiness Advisor at PDE, will share the newly proposed revisions to the Career Education and Work (CEW) Standards. As the standards move through the regulatory review process, what can school counselors do to prepare for implementation in July 2026? What will these revisions mean to school counselors and the students we serve? What are schools doing now that aligns to the upcoming standards? The new standard of Employability Skills is an area of alignment and essential for career and life readiness. Let’s start the conversation and learn how to move forward in the process. In addition, there will be an opportunity to ask questions about career readiness, the K-12 Guidance Plan, and current opportunities to earn artifacts which already align to the new standards! You’ll also be able to take this information back to your districts and share with your administrators, faculty, and advisory councils. You won’t want to miss this information-packed session.
